When Air New Zealand meets a Hobbit

Air New Zealand is an airline famous for its unusual flight safety videos and this time, I must say they’ve hit my inner geek hard with a Hobbit-themed version.

To those who wonder about the relationship between New Zealand and the world of Lord of the Rings, the magnificent scenery you discover in Peter Jackson’s Trilogy are thanks to New Zealand’s own landscape (at least the parts which weren’t created by graphic artists…).

Pay close attention to the video because there is a competition organized which offers a grand prize of a free trip to New Zealand for the premier of The Hobbit. That being said, I could well tell you that the answer this time is not 42 but its 14th… that’s a hint for mathletes.
